Terms and Conditions – Tawang Tours
1. General Information
Tawang Tours is a tour operator offering holiday packages, hotel bookings, and transport services
in Arunachal Pradesh and the North East region of India. All tours are subject to availability, local conditions, permits, and government regulations.
2. Prices and Price Variations
All prices are indicative and subject to change. Final prices are confirmed only at the time of
voucher or invoice issuance. Any significant increase allows guests to accept, modify, or cancel as
per policy.
3. Inclusions and Exclusions
Only services expressly mentioned as included form part of the package. All others are excluded.
4. Booking, Payment and Confirmation
Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of advance payment and written confirmation.
Payment Schedule:
• 15% advance at booking
• 30% on Day 1 of the tour
• 30% at mid-point of the tour
• 25% on the last day of the tour
Failure to follow this schedule may lead to suspension or cancellation of services without refund.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation Policy:
• More than 20 days before tour start: 100% refund (excluding non-refundable components)
• 20 to 14 days before tour start: 50% refund
• 14 to 7 days before tour start: 30% refund
• Within 7 days of tour start or no-show: No refund
Refunds are subject to supplier policies and unrecoverable costs.
6. Changes by Guest
Any post-confirmation changes are subject to availability and additional charges.
7. Force Majeure
In events beyond control such as weather, landslides, or government restrictions, the Company
may modify or cancel tours. Refunds are limited to recoverable amounts.
8. Travel Documents & Permits
Guests must carry valid ID and permits. Permit approvals are at authority discretion.
9. Health & Fitness
Guests must ensure medical fitness. The Company bears no liability for medical emergencies.
10. Travel Insurance
Guests are strongly advised to obtain adequate travel insurance.
11. Accommodation & Transport
Services are subject to availability and may be substituted with equivalent options.
12. Guest Conduct
Guests must behave respectfully and are liable for any damage caused.
13. Limitation of Liability
The Company acts as an intermediary and is not liable for third-party failures or indirect losses.
14. Complaints
Issues must be reported during the tour for resolution.
15. Privacy
Personal data is used only for service delivery and handled lawfully.
16. Governing Law
Governed by Indian law, with jurisdiction in Arunachal Pradesh.
